Foundation and Corporate Affairs

In order to enhance the capacity of the Government of the District of Columbia to engage in multi-sector initiatives, the Office of Partnerships and Grant Services facilitates the establishment and enhancement of public-private partnerships.

The office connects District government agencies and executive offices with business, corporate, foundation, and individual partners who share goals and want to leverage resources. The Executive Office of the Mayor believes that crafting and sustaining meaningful partnerships in the District of Columbia are based on more than money. The Mayor seeks partners who are committed to advancing city-wide strategic objectives through the allocation of financial, in-kind and technical resources.

To date, OPGS has established relationships with The Washington Association of Regional Grant Makers, The Community Foundation for the Nation Capital Region, and The Foundation Center, as well as national, regional, and local business associations and entities. These partnerships are enhancing the quality of life in the District of Columbia.

Contact OPGS to discuss your interest in partnering with the Government of the District of Columbia.
